We have officially launched!!
Thursday 3rd November saw the official launch event of Knutsford Together at St. John’s Church, Knutsford. We had a fantastic turnout, and it was great to share our goals and objectives with the people of Knutsford (over a mulled wine and a mince pie… or two).
We recruited lots of local residents as well as people who work in Knutsford, who are keen to become Local Connectors and really get involved in making Knutsford a Compassionate Community. It was lovely to see the positive response to what we’re trying to achieve and with so many people registering for the training, it’s beginning to feel very real now!
Thanks to everyone who came and supported us, including the Mayor and Mayoress of Knutsford. Also, to the fantastic Knutsford Star Choir who came and entertained us with a fantastic repertoire of songs
If you live or work in Knutsford and would like to become a Local Connector (no commitment or experience needed), then please get in touch at help@knutsfordtogether.org.uk or register online at www.knutsfordtogether.org.uk and we’ll be in touch!
Thank you to the Knutsford Guardian for writing this fantastic article about our launch:
